Life as an NPC? That’s not living.

“You’re here for a purpose. There is something specific you’re here on Earth to do that will lead people to Christ…”

I got on TikTok, had a dream, and was prompted to share this thought with you. Go ahead and listen to what crossed my mind, and chime in below if anything comes to mind.

I’ve noted a similar scripture below, but I don’t think this is the one I was initially referencing. If you know the exact reference in Mark or John, please feel free to comment below.

Jesus replied to them, “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually]. But as I told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe. All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me].

  1. Well, I guess first of all, I really need to know what living NPC actually means. But, I do feel I have an idea what this Scripture is saying to me. I hear Jesus telling me that there is a great life and a wonderful, peaceful fulfilling purpose in knowing Him and being His trusting friend. He says, that which keeps and preserves us, is in Him. If we miss the opportunity to share in what he’s offering we will fail at life, but if we grab it with gusto and faith and joy, we could live like we never believed we could and die just as joyfully. Why would we not share this lifting, life giving information with others?

    1. An NPC stands for non-player character. It’s a character within a video game that does only one thing to keep the video game from being empty or lifeless. Take a look at the video I posted above.
